I love it when I find a small business that charges a fair price for work and doesn't distinguish between the high rollers and the cheapos like me. My friend commented that the owner seemed a bit gruff but did wonderful work. I heard about The Watch Shop several years ago when a friend with an antique Rolex took it to there for a repair. Prices may vary depending on the type of watch and battery. The shop owner replaced them while I waited. But at The Watch Shop in St. (Target's watch battery prices range from about $3.69 to $6.50 at the Lake St. I found an even cheaper spot that replaces batteries-even less than if I went to Target and bought the battery and replaced it myself. ![]() (They sell Armatron, Casio, Citizen, Timex, Pulsar and Seiko.) Talbots's was great for the value on the clearance section. Crew- what a joke! Even on discount, prices were stupid- I'm not spending $80 on a Tshirt because you say it's a favorite. come to think of it- gap seemed to have great prices for people of smaller sizes- I wear a size 8 or size 10 if I wore a size 0-4 I really could have gotten great deals (def a bargain avenue for smaller sizes). Children's place looked like a "hot mess" with stuff scattered literally everywhere-/ gap was way better in organization (but didn't have much to choose from in a size 2T). I was eventually given the recommendation to head over to Sevierville to the Zales in the Tanger Outlets. This was NO easy task since we were staying in downtown Gatlinburg, where it seems that most of the "jewelry" shops there do NOT have someone capable of changing a watch battery. So, naturally, I went on a mission to find someone who could change my watch battery quickly and professionally. For some this would probably NOT be a big deal, but for me my watch keeps me on track EVEN when I'm on vacation! I feel lost without my watch. So, I'm on HUNDREDS of miles from home and my watch battery decides to go kaput. ![]()
